DO NOT use TENS with the following contraindications:
Pacemaker or implanted defibrillator
Medical implanted pulse generators (e.g. sacral stimulators)
Epilepsy
Local bleeding, infection or malignancy
Over the neck, eyes, brain or chest
Over the pregnant uterus
Near an active epiphysis
Poor sensation or circulation.
